1. Controller

2. Visiting the website and server logs
When you visit this website, the web server processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, requested address, amount of data transferred, status code, browser and operating system. We need this data to deliver the site and keep it secure.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and stable operation of the website. Logs are deleted after 14 days at the latest, unless they are needed to investigate a security incident.
3. Hosting
The website runs on a server of Contabo GmbH, Aschauer Straße 32a, 81549 Munich, in a data centre in Germany. Contabo processes data on our behalf under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR).
4. Enquiry forms and email
When you write to us through a form or by email, we process the details you provide: company, country, website, information on products and requirements, name, email address, phone number and your message. We use them solely to handle your enquiry and to prepare a possible cooperation.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry aims at a contract, and otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is answering business enquiries.
Our mailboxes are operated with Google Workspace by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. A data processing agreement is in place with Google. A transfer to the USA cannot be ruled out. It is safeguarded by the adequacy decision of the EU Commission (EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework) and standard contractual clauses.
We delete enquiries once they have been dealt with and no statutory retention periods apply. If a business relationship comes about, the retention periods of six and ten years under German commercial and tax law apply.
5. Job applications
When you apply through the form on our careers page, we process the details you provide: name, email address, phone number, place of residence, the position or area you are interested in, earliest start date, salary expectation, your message and the documents you upload. We use them solely for the application process. Only the people who decide on the position can see them.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into an employment relationship). If you voluntarily provide special categories of data, such as health information, we process them only as far as the process requires (Art. 9 (2) (b) GDPR).
Your application is stored on our server at Contabo GmbH and sent by email to our Google Workspace mailbox (see sections 3 and 4). We delete it from the server automatically six months after receipt, and from the mailbox no later than six months after the process has ended. If you are hired, we transfer the necessary details to your personnel file.
If you tick the box for future consideration, we keep your application for up to twelve months to contact you about a suitable position (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You can withdraw this consent at any time with effect for the future by emailing info@ledo-group.de.
6. Cookies, visitor statistics and fonts
This website sets no cookies and uses no advertising services. Fonts and images are served by our own server. No third-party content is loaded.
We count how often each page is viewed. When a page loads, your browser sends the page path, the name of the site you came from and the width of the window to our server. Nothing is stored on or read from your device. So that visitors are not counted twice on the same day, the server creates a fingerprint from the IP address and browser identifier using a random key that is deleted after one day; after that, the fingerprint can no longer be linked to anyone. We do not store the IP address itself for this. The counting runs on our own server and nothing is passed to third parties. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is to learn which pages are read. We delete the figures after 400 days. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, we do not count you.
When you switch the language, the site briefly stores in your browser’s session storage where on the page you were, and deletes that entry as soon as the new page has loaded. This is strictly necessary for the function you requested (Section 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG) and does not require consent. Your device is not recognised, and the information never reaches our server.
7. Links to other sites
We link to our LinkedIn profile and to the LEDO Shop. Data is only transferred once you follow a link. The privacy policy of the respective provider then applies.
8. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and the right to object to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (Art. 21). A message to info@ledo-group.de is sufficient.
You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
